Del Corazon in a Bottle
September 30, 2008
My gal gave me the cutest nip size bottle of tequila and being obsessed with the Del Corazon as it were, I decided to stuff one in. I carved the hull out of a piece of scrap poplar and formed the masts from bamboo. Some wire was used for the pulpits and thread for the rigging. I used rolling papers for the sails. The ocean was made with blue tissue paper and epoxy resin. When the ocean cured to leather hard I rolled it up and stuffed it and the boat into the bottle.
